Google has released a new version of their very popular GMail app, which works with blackberrys, smart phones and most java enabled phones. This newer version is supposed to be a more stripped down and less of a memory hog. It does seem to load pretty fast now, though I personally haven’t really had many difficulties with gmail’s mobile app. With a blackberry you can go into your phone options, advanced options, and applications, you can then go to gmail and choose to delete it. After you do that you can go with your web browser to, http://www.gmail.com/app to download the new version.
