Not only did I have some issues with texting this morning in our area with ATT Wireless.  I leave to go to lunch and try and check my gmail and I have no EDGE coverage on my blackberry which is their internet I only have GSM service.  So after calling ATT Tech and going through every possible thing on the network and trying my SIM card in another blackberry with only the same result the tech advises me the only other thing to try is changing my SIM card.  Before this guy I never realized that on the SIM cards there is actually separate parts for the phone usage and for data usage.  Evidently the data part of my SIM card had burnt out or stopped working period.  I doubt most people would know this, and might come in handy for someone in the future.
