If you upgrade to the OS 4.5 and you use a different carrier OS such as Orange or Vodaphone and yada yada, you muc remove the vendor.xml file. So where is it?
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
go there and find the vendor.html file and then delete it. After that you can open the application loader and it will show your new OS to upload to your blackberry.

Thank you for tips. I did removed XML file from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader as I followed your instructions. then I loaded 4.5 os on my tmo curve. everything runs so smooth & well!

It works, like a charm, but why?
how the heck do i open the apploader dll file from to access the vendor xml file. i have went through the program files, and into research in motion scolleddown to the apploader file attempted to open it, and was told invalid line comand parimeter and it will not open, this is ver frustrating
