When looking for software to connect my mobile devices, to my Mac there is a ton of crap out there. Most of the time, these so called programs don’t get the job done or corrupt the files I’m sending between devices. I’m hoping that doubleTwist doesn’t turn out to be one of those apps.
Everything I’ve read on it, along with this video shows we might have something special in our midst. doubleTwist is a program that works much like iTunes. In fact it looks just like iTunes to an extent. You can connect almost any mobile device to your Mac, to transfer files. It comes with a built-in converter, so you can just drag and drop your files with ease. The coolest feature the program looks to offer, is the ability to send pictures from your device directly to flickr, Facebook, or friends and family.
doubleTwist is in beta form right now, so they’re are probably going to be bugs to work out. Also, as of now there is only a version for Mac users. Hopefully, they’re working on a Windows version to release later. With everything that it promises, it definitely looks to be worth a shot. Watch the video below for more details.
